Sip’n Shop is a self-guided wine tasting tour. Guest are invited to sample wines while strolling between the downtown Lancaster businesses and shopping the exclusive specials just for event guests. Tickets are $25 per person. A ticket includes sampling of various wines at each sponsored location; a wristband, exclusive store specials, giveaways, a map and a wine glass. Registration will begin at 1:30pm at the Chamber Office located at City Hall. A $10 non-drinking ticket will also be available for guests who would like to partake in the exclusive specials but opt-out of the wine tasting.
Cost to participating businesses
• $100 sponsor fee (helps with the purchasing of wine & advertising the event)
Business participates will be included in print, and social media advertising. Your location will be highlighted on map indicating what wines you will be offering during the event. Some businesses may not be a retail business to offer special prices and are encouraged to offer a prize package or a giveaway for guests to sign up to win instead.
The Chamber will supply businesses with wine, ice, cooler tub, shot glass for measuring and bottle opener. Goal of event is to get some new and old customers in your store and increase spending at your business.
NOTE REQUIRED BUT ENCOURAGE - Donate a $5.00 gift card. Your Gift Card will be included in a large door prize that each event guest signs up for during registration.
