City of Lancaster Signage Regulations - Signs advertising garage, yard or rummage sales shall be subject to the following:
A. Such signs shall be freestanding and shall not exceed two square feet in size.
B. No signs shall be placed within the area of any public lands or right-of-way.
C. Such signs shall not be located on utility poles, signposts, traffic control devices, public trees or shrubs.
D. No more than three signs may be used for any sale and no more than one sign per yard shall be permitted, except that two signs shall be permitted on corner lots, one facing each street.
E. Such signs may be displayed only between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the date of sale.
F. All signs, no matter where placed, must be removed within 24 hours of the close of the sale by the owner of the property where the sale was located.
